North Port Animal Hospital
Response to COVID-19

We hope that you and your families, including the furry members, are staying safe and healthy during this public health crisis.

As this pandemic continues to develop, we want you to know that our team is working hard to enact safety measures within our hospital to allow us to continue to provide compassionate care for your pets.

If you feel your pet needs care, don’t worry! We’re here for you, just follow these steps:

        1. Connect First  If your pet is sick or you feel they need to come in for a visit, give us a call first. You can always chat with our doctors on Airvet! The app allows you to chat and video call with our doctors from the comfort of your home. Either over the phone or the Airvet app, we’ll discuss what’s going on and come up with a plan together.
          1. To get started on the Airvet app, visit
          2. Create your account and when prompted, select North Port Animal Hospital as your primary hospital
          3. Complete your profile and begin connecting with us
        2. Curbside Service If our plan includes having your pet come in for a visit, one of our team members will meet you outside of our hospital. We’ll bring your pet inside for an exam and back out to you when we’re done. This means that unfortunately, you will not be able to accompany your pet during their visit. However, rest assured that our teams are fully trained in safe pet handling and of course, we’ll give them some extra love to make their experience as comfortable as possible.
        3. Check Back Often Developments are happening rapidly in this public health crisis. Our teams are monitoring carefully and we may need to update our operations plans and our hours as time goes on. We’ll keep you updated here on this page and on our social media sites, so check back often for updates.

If you are feeling sick or have any flu-like symptoms, we ask that you let us know right away. If your pet needs to be seen, we may ask that you have another family member or friend who is not sick to bring your pet in.

Please make sure that you and your family are following the CDC Guidelines, guidance provided by your local and state governments and above all, be safe!

        Read What Our Clients Say

        • "Wow! Thanks to all the staff at Anderson Vet Clinic. I feel like you all truly love what you do! My kitty, Lola and I always have such a pleasant experience when we come in. Fortunately, it’s usually just for a check-up, but I would not leave Lola in anyone else’s hands but yours. Thank you for your caring commitment!"
Maya Smith / Los Angeles, CA
        • "I have benefited tremendously from the care my pet received from Dr. Anderson."
John Doe / San Diego, CA
        • "Fabio wasn’t eating the food I was giving him and I didn’t feel he was getting the nutrition he needed. Thanks to Dr. Anderson, he evaluated Fabio and his current diet to make some recommendations and now Fabio has gone from barely eating to finishing his meals and he looks healthier than ever. You clearly are an expert in your field...thanks so much!"
